Where we are – The Beach

Oh hello! I am behind my computer screen hiding my face behind my hands in embarrassment. I really do wish to keep this blog going, but unfortunately life gets in the way, and days go by, weeks go by…and then here I am 3 months after my last blog post asking you to read what I have to say. I don’t blame you if you’re long gone.
Anyway. If life wasn’t crazy enough trying to be a mom, a wife and run a business, we moved down to the beach temporarily for a while. So while I’m mostly here soaking up the sun and enjoying small town life, I’m also back and forth to Houston trying to behave ‘business as usual’. It’s a little chaotic, but those who know me in real life, I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Here’s what I’ve been up to:
Let’s start with the holidays. We host Christmas Eve, it’s been our tradition ever since moving to Houston. This year we had 12 people, it was a blast. We decided to do lobsters. SO much work. But such a good idea to keep boys busy. Julian just loved being in on the action with his daddy, his uncle and his great GrandTex.
These were our tables set up in our teeny houses. Fresh garland, ballet pink and fuchsia peonies, it turned out mighty pretty!
This was a holiday table setting I did at a project we shot in November. Taken by Kate LeSueur
More of that project…and more can be seen at www.lesueurinteriors.com
Had Julian’s first Christmas!
And we had a first birthday!
Went on a juice cleanse…so good!
Got new hair color for 2013
Then we arrived at the beach!!
I’ll be back to work in Houston on Monday morning…hopefully with some good interiors scoop for you coming soon!
Also you can follow me with more up to date photos via pinterest and instagram!
