We’re getting ready to go to Louisiana tomorrow morning first thing. It’s our third weekend in a row crossing the Texas state line, driving to my home state. Of course seeing my family and friends makes the long tedious drive on I-10 all worth it. Another thing I look forward to when I’m in Louisiana, the sweet smell of the oak trees. I can’t describe it, there is a beautiful, intoxicating smell that goes with these gorgeous animals, and that reminds me of home.
