I saw this photograph and it reminded me of our time in Egypt. Which I didn’t blog that much about because at the time I was sort of over traveling and was exhausted. So I kind of ignored our time there on this blog. We were in and out of Egypt in only 8 days, down to Luxor and back, which is a lot of miles covered in a short period of time. I’m sorry Egypt, but you wore me out. Now, six months later, I can appreciate you and your beauty. I’m still blown away by the pyramids, they are magical. This photo is magical. It makes me smile and feel calm. Which is ironic because if you’ve been to Cairo, you will know, it is not a calm place. I think it’s the sepia tones and colors that are so soothing…. and with this I will remember Egypt.
