We have just entered the second week of January, and if you are anything like me my resolutions are starting to take a back seat to real life… And now I am feeling guilty that I didn’t make it to the gym, I ordered pizza, and forget about my evenings unplugged (no phones, tv or computers between 7pm – 7am).
Life changes are hard but they should make you feel good not like a failure, so I have decided to adjust my resolutions. My NEW New Years resolution, well its more than a resolution, its a commitment; a commitment to my whole self.
I will… be present, be spontaneous, exercise, eat better, really listen, relax, laugh more, meditate, write in a journal, make time for myself and try new things. I might not do all everyday and I am OK with that, adding self acceptance to my list. The point is, this year I am working on me, the whole me – my list of intentions will evolve as I do.

Tip: When you have a problem and you’re stressed, keeping a journal can help you identify what’s causing that stress or anxiety. Then, once you’ve identified your stressors, you can work on a plan to resolve the problems and, in turn, reduce stress.
