One of my guilty pleasures is perusing Instagram for beautiful table-scapes. Thanksgiving tables are always so beautiful, and I am always amazed at how clever and creative people are! My favorite idea that I gathered this year (that I am going to steal sometime soon) is to put old family photos at each person’s plate instead of name cards. I love the idea of everyone sitting down to a happy memory or the smiling face of a loved one that may no longer be with us. I like to imagine that these photos would lead to us all sharing family memories and telling stories that haven’t been thought of in a long time.
