For a pair of Houston homeowners with a passion for exquisite artwork, Lonergan and her team ensured their home was as colorful and classic as their tastes, which included a commissioned piece by Connecticut-based Donald Martiny. By creating a unique fusion of modern furnishings and delicate antiques, a dated 1939 Georgian Revival was transformed into a chic Parisian apartment outfitted for the twenty-first century.

To add subtle sophistication, drapery was incorporated on the backside of steel doors, adding a softness to the light-filled space.
